In the coming years, Robots will not only outsmart humans as peers but will also interview them for jobs. The robot named Vera developed by St Petersburg-based Company Stratford will use artificial intelligence (AI) techniques to interview job candidates. The company states it has more than 250 clients including fortune 500 companies in their bucket.

Large numbers of enterprises are opting for artificial intelligence to streamline their hiring process as robots can interview hundreds of candidates in a short span of time. It is equipped with advanced speech recognition capabilities and can handle all the recruiting functions including conducting online interview, searching candidates and database management. It can hold conversation in multiple languages with hi-tech internet search optimization and human emotion understanding capabilities.

AI helps when taking leverage with hiring and firing decisions and eliminates human intervention specially to carry out firing procedure. Robots help in removing biases in hiring process by becoming more diverse and objective than humans.

AI software are increasingly becoming popular as they can determine human moods like whether an employee is feeling optimistic about his job or is confused or has a dislike. AI tools like Xander are capable of analyzing employee responses to open-ended questions using behavior patterns and the kind of language they speak.

AI has provided an estimated reduction in the hiring time of close to 70% to fill each position, with more than 100% upscale in per recruiter productivity alongside achieving 100% in candidate level satisfaction.

  • The final stage: The AI software will match the candidate using the recorded parameters and will schedule an interview with a human hiring manager or else it will suggest other jobs relevant to the candidate.
