Somnath has more than 14 years of experience in market research. Currently he plays an important role on in research & consulting division of Infoholic Research. In his former company, AMI Partners Inc. He has 7 years + experience in researching Small & Medium Business.
(SMB) Technology needs and behaviours and specializes in providing strategic marketing direction to support data-driven decision making at the executive level. He has lead several large scale quantitative research projects, including behavioural tracking, multi-country opportunity analysis, and customer satisfaction studies.
Prior to joining AMI-Partners, he started his market research career in Indica Research. He has also worked for MNC market research companies such as Synovate India and GFK India. He was involved in a wide variety of consulting and market research projects including Customer Satisfaction Studies, Tracking studies, Dip stick studies, Market Survey/Assessment Studies, Project feasibility studies etc.
Worked with various prestigious clients like – Tata Steel, BOC, Bengal Ambuja, Ad Club Kolkata, WB Health Dept., NACO, Outlook Magazine NPCL ,PSI etc’. Regularly worked with technology and telecom giants and such as Microsoft, SAP, Dell , IBM, CISCO, HP , Symantec, Avaya , Tata Teleservices etc.
Somnath has an M.B.A. degree in Marketing and graduated in Commerce from Calcutta University.
